What’s actually happening to your headlights
Most modern headlight lenses are polycarbonate, with a protective factory coating on the outside. As that protection wears down, the exposed surface can oxidize and become yellow or cloudy.
It happens gradually. You may notice the change in how your headlights look before you notice the difference at night. A hazed lens scatters light, and replacing the bulbs doesn’t remove that haze.

How I restore them
I wet sand the lens through progressive grits to remove the failed coating and the oxidized surface underneath. Then I polish the lens back to clear.
After polishing, I seal the lenses with a ceramic coating to help protect against UV exposure and renewed oxidation. The restoration is backed by my 3-year warranty.
I bring more than 20 years of automotive-industry experience to the work, including roles as a technician, shop foreman, service advisor and fleet coordinator.
You probably don’t need new headlights
If the problem is oxidation on the outside of the lens, restoration can bring back clarity while keeping your original assemblies.
Cracks, moisture inside the housing, broken mounting tabs or failed internal components are different problems. I’ll tell you if restoration isn’t the right approach for your headlights.
